Executor is the best file launcher I've found. It's has advanced and cryptic features, but it's simple enough in its basic use. It looks good and is easy on the eyes. And you can adjust the interface to your liking in many ways, including making it large enough to see (always a "plus").

It would take an hour to do a worthy review of this great freeware file launcher, so I won't do that. Just check it out and give it a try if you need something like this, which all of us do. Malware Bytes

I had just wiped my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP after a severe attack. I'm pretty good with a computer, and I've been pretty careful and fortunte. This was about a month ago and it was the first time I'd ever needed to do that! Believe it or not, I was just reinstalling my programs from files saved on another drive and on USB sticks when up popped the nastiest attacker you could imagine. Yes, I was infected again!!!

Long story short, I googled the nasty thing that called itself XP Police and pretended to be a virus checker. The search engine took me to CNN Downloads, where I read several reader reviews. Then it was onto YouTube where I found a video about Malware Bytes, so I downloaded the Free version, installed it, and within eight minutes it had scanned my system.

Voila! Malware Bytes showed me a long checklist of more than twenty (20) files that were connected with this XP Police bugger. All I needed to do was click the "Delete Them All" button and they were gone.

The free version lets you update the database of nasty malware and virus critters as often as you wish and de-louse your system. There's a pay version for $24 that does that and runs automatically in the background. I might buy it, but probably not. The free version is sufficient for my needs. I hope LOL.]]>
